With the weather starting to get a little warmer, it's a great time to start holding our park days back outside! What better place than Veteran's Tribute Park in St. Charles?

From the website: "About the Park: Veterans Tribute Park, located at 1031 Kisker Road, Weldon Springs, includes a Veterans Memorial Garden, trails for walking and biking, fishing lakes, shelters, a dog park, open play fields and a destination playground with a water play area, for children of all abilities.

Veterans Memorial Garden: Overlooking the park’s lakes, the garden features a Veterans Memorial Plaza with the names of St. Charles County soldiers who died in service to our nation since World War I engraved on stone panels. A Tribute Walk leading up to the memorial, showcases interpretive panels covering conflicts from the time St. Charles County was organized in 1812 to present day, along with plantings that bloom or have vibrant color at the end of each war."

 This is a wonderful opportunity for interested families to meet our group and consider joining! SLHN members, please, feel free to help with welcoming visitors and sharing why we're a co-op worth considering!

*SLHN events are not drop off events. Parents/guardians must stay within eye shot/ear shot of their children. Parents/guardians can arrange an alternative “parent on duty” to care for their children in their absence.
